Community Dinner with Blue Star Families

On May 25, 2016, The Family Dinner Project is excited to rejoin our friends from Blue Star Families in a shared community dinner event at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. The evening will mark our second event at Hanscom and will feature a picnic dinner with hands-on food prep activities for the whole family, plus discussion and peer learning around the unique challenges military families face in sharing frequent family meals.

We’re pleased to continue learning from Blue Star Families as we expand our resources for military families. To learn more about our work with Blue Star Families, check out some of the ideas and tools we’ve developed through this partnership. We also love this real-life story of a military family determined to make family dinners a priority despite numerous challenges.
