Dr. Anne Fishel at Duke Grand Rounds

Dr. Anne FishelOn Thursday, September 15, 2016, Dr. Anne Fishel (co-founder of The Family Dinner Project and author of Home for Dinner: Mixing Food, Fun and Conversation for a Happier Family and Healthier Kids) will be presenting at Grand Rounds at the Duke University School of Medicine.

The topic of Dr. Fishel’s presentation is “Bridging Therapy and Home: Using the Power of Family Dinners to Make Change in Family Therapy.” Drawing on her many years of experience as a family therapist, parent and Director of the Family and Couples Therapy Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Fishel will discuss how a seemingly simple ritual — sitting down daily to share a meal — can have powerful benefits physically, socially and emotionally for the entire family.
