Dine In with AAFCS and The Family Dinner Project

Saturday, December 3 is #FCSDay — an occasion dedicated to supporting Family and Consumer Sciences and the contributions that they make to building healthy families. Our friends at the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) are celebrating with their annual Dine In Day. Families and organizations can show their support by pledging to cook and eat together on December 3.

For the second consecutive year, The Family Dinner Project is partnering with AAFCS to spread the message of Dine In Day and show our support of Family and Consumer Sciences. The life skills that are taught through FCS programs are important in raising youth and teens who understand the importance of family dinners and are confident and capable in planning, shopping, cooking and gathering others for a healthy and meaningful meal. We encourage all of our followers to dedicate your family dinner on December 3 to Dine In Day, and join us in showing your support for the work of AAFCS.
