Sharing a Meal at Hanscom Air Force Base

As part of our ongoing relationship with Blue Star Families, an organization devoted to supporting active duty military families around the world, we recently co-hosted a Community Dinner event at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. Throughout the evening, we enjoyed fun, conversation and delicious food (generously provided by the wonderful people at Whole Foods Market in Bedford, MA). Highlights included showing all guests — big and small — how to make the Greek yogurt dip tzatziki, hearing from parents about their dinnertime strategies and challenges, and teaching the children to make homemade whipped cream and fruit skewers for dessert.
