While The Family Dinner Project exists to show families how to have more frequent, meaningful meals together, we are always mindful that for many families around the world, a meal together may be an impossible dream. That’s why we’re proud to partner with CARE, a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty, in their #CAREpotluck campaign to raise awareness about global hunger and to garner support for the Global Food Security Act of 2015 (GFSA).
The #CAREpotluck campaign kicks off on Monday, November 23, 2015 and culminates on #GivingTuesday, December 1, 2015. During this time, The Family Dinner Project will be one of a number of organizations and individuals sharing our support for CARE’s mission and the GFSA online. We’re particularly pleased to join this event with four well-known chefs who have traveled with CARE and directly participated in humanitarian aid efforts: Cat Cora, Carla Hall, Antonia Lofaso and Spike Mendelsohn.
Your family can be a part of the #CAREpotluck and lend your support to the GFSA!
We encourage you to join us in calling attention to this very important global issue!
