The Family Dinner Project is taking our work on the road! Next week, we’ll be joining thousands of young leaders and their teachers at the National Leadership Conference hosted by FCCLA in Washington, D.C. We’re excited to talk with them and learn from teens and educators. Some of the conversation was already started in our recent #dinnerpower Twitter chat — view the highlights from the chat on Storify and see what national advocates of family dinner, both youth and adult, had to say about empowering youth at the dinner table.
The chat and our attendance at the National Leadership Conference are just the beginning of our relationship with FCCLA, an organization whose commitment to family dinner can only strengthen our message of Food, Fun and Conversation about Things that Matter. Look for more content from FDP and FCCLA in the future. In the meantime, we’ll look forward to joining our new friends in D.C.!
