Steven Weidner, a custodian at Alan Shepard Elementary School in Bourbonnais, Illinois, likely never expected to sign autographs when he got up for work one week last morning. But that’s exactly what happened. More than 300 students ran after him and lined up to get his signature in their yearbooks, and a post on the school’s Facebook page read “…Mr Steve has reached Rock Star status as he signs autographs for his fans!” Here’s the full story, along with some thoughtful conversation starters below to help close out the school year:
