TFDP at the AAFCS Annual Conference

We’re pleased to announce that The Family Dinner Project will be represented at the AAFCS (American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences) Annual Conference. This year’s event will be held in Bellevue, Washington, June 22-25.

The theme of the conference is “Improving the Health and Well-Being of a Changing Society,” a topic that comes up often in the work we do around family dinners. In an ever-changing world, issues such as technology at the table, social media use, family scheduling challenges and shifting attitudes about food and cooking are all factors that affect how, what and how often families eat together. We’re committed to helping all families adapt to these challenges in the ways that work best for them, because while society and family dinners do change and evolve, one thing has not changed: The list of clear benefits that family meals offer to everyone, physically, socially and emotionally.
