Dinner Tonight: Budget Friendly

Dinner Tonight: Budget Friendly Shopping List: Week of November 11, 2019

Print Shopping List » Back to Your Week »

Here is your weekly meal plan and shopping list!

You’ll be making Simple Tomato sauce to use in two different meals, so if your family includes more than 2 or 3 people, you’ll need to double the batch. We’ve written the shopping list to reflect a double quantity.

Pulled pork will be another double-duty ingredient this week. If you don’t have a slow cooker, you can cook it on the stovetop or in the oven, but you’ll need to plan to make the pork in advance on day when you can be home. You’ll use the pork in burritos and tacos. We’ve included salsa and sour cream on the shopping list for topping either or both meals.

Please note that the recipes provided may serve different numbers of people. The shopping list is built from the recipes, so depending on the size of your family, you may need more or less of some ingredients. Remember to check the serving sizes before you shop so you can adjust your list to work for your family!
