DINNER TONIGHT: BUDGET FRIENDLYShopping List: Week of February 4, 2019

PRINT SHOPPING LIST »BACK TO YOUR WEEK »

Dear Friend,

Here is your weekly meal plan and shopping list!

This week, we’ve recommended serving a garden salad with the souvlaki on Wednesday night, and have added romaine lettuce and tomatoes to the grocery list. However, many people enjoy using the lettuce and tomatoes, along with a few slices of onion and/or cucumber, as toppings for their souvlaki. You could do either, as you choose. The remaining lettuce and assorted vegetables will make a side salad for Friday night’s fish dinner.

On Thursday night, you can serve buttered pasta alongside your turkey skillet dinner or not, as you choose. If you’d rather use something else you already have on hand, such as potatoes, couscous or bread, any substitution will do. If you do choose a substitution, you can omit both the pasta and the butter from your shopping list.

Please note that the recipes provided may serve different numbers of people. The shopping list is built from the recipes, so depending on the size of your family, you may need more or less of some ingredients. Remember to check the serving sizes before you shop so you can adjust your list to work for your family!
