Family Picnic #9: Walking Tacos and Stars

Posted on: July 28th, 2020 by Bri DeRosa

This is the ninth installment in our Family Picnic series! We hope you’ve been following along and enjoying a weekly picnic together. During the summer of 2020, many of us need new rituals and ways to connect despite the challenges around us. A chance to share food, fun and conversation outside is one way to do just that.

This Week’s Family Picnic Menu

Our menu for the week is a super fun, fast dinner with minimal dishes and easy cleanup. Make walking tacos — perfect for backyard picnics or later dinners on the run — and top them with a homemade twist on guacamole. Then enjoy a simple summer dessert while you look at the stars.

Walking Tacos are dinner in a bag! Top your favorite chips with a quick homemade taco mixture and the veggies, cheese and fixings your family likes best.
