The Family Dinner Project

How Do You Eat Together On A Packed Day?

It’s no secret that many of us live in an over-scheduled world. Meetings, play dates, business trips and after-school activities — when these commitments pile up, they can feel like serious obstacles to having family dinner. And yet, despite their crowded calendars, many families find creative ways to come together for a meal.

On those busy days, how do you make family dinner work? The answer might be as simple as rescheduling a PTA meeting, as inventive as having a picnic before soccer practice, or as high tech as using Skype for evening meetings in order to be home for dinner. Tell us how you make dinner happen, and you could win a $50 gift card to the grocery store of your choice!

To enter, write your answer in the comments or email us at stories@thefamilydinnerproject.org. Submissions must be received by June 8. We can’t wait to read your responses!
