Announcing “Eat, Laugh, Talk: The Family Dinner Playbook”

Posted on: September 5th, 2019 by Bri DeRosa

It’s an exciting time at The Family Dinner Project! We’re thrilled to announce the release of our new book, Eat, Laugh, Talk: The Family Dinner Playbook, published October 1, 2019 from Familius Press.

Based on our decade of working with over 1 million real families to solve their dinnertime challenges, Eat, Laugh, Talk offers 52 weeks of easy, family-tested recipes, along with conversation starters and games to play at the table. Each week offers a family story or a tip to help families overcome common obstacles such as busy schedules, picky eating and tension at the table. The stories and tips are followed by recipe suggestions, fun and conversation, all laid out in an easy-to-follow week-by-week format.

While the book is a real-world extension of our website and you’ll certainly see some familiar ideas in its pages, it also includes plenty of new tips, stories and recipes so you can explore fresh ways to bring food, fun and conversation to life. Eat, Laugh, Talk: The Family Dinner Playbook truly is a guide you can follow to make your mealtimes meaningful. We all know why family dinner is so important, and this book is the manual that tells you how to make it happen.

Because The Family Dinner Project is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to helping more families enjoy the benefits of shared meals, our share of the proceeds from sales of this book will be used to expand our work with partners serving families in vulnerable communities. Eat, Laugh, Talk is available now through Familius, IndieBound and Amazon, and you can look for it wherever books are sold.
