This week, you’ll have plenty of lettuce and tomatoes on hand to make quick garden salads for side dishes, as well as a main dish Taco Salad. We also suggest using one or two tomatoes, along with half of your broccoli, in the Vegetable Quiche recipe. You can choose different vegetables for the quiche if you prefer; just make sure to update your shopping list!
The list also includes 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese and 2.5 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese. The cheddar is for the quiche and taco salad, while the mozzarella is intended for the ziti bake and English Muffin pizzas. However, you can buy different types of cheese for these dishes if you’d prefer, and if it’s more cost-effective to buy a large bag of a single cheese blend for all the meals, that’s a good option to consider.
