The Family Dinner Project

Make Your Own Meal Planner

It’s been awhile since we’ve held a contest ‘round these parts, so we’re very excited to announce our next challenge! This contest was inspired by Stephanie (who also recently contributed a fantastic blog about dinner conversation with her two young boys).

After talking with organizers from The Family Dinner Project, Stephanie decided to design her own weekly meal-planning guide in Microsoft Word. Monday is “meatless,” Tuesday is “takeout.” Friday is all about “family favorites,” and Saturday is about trying “something new.”

Each day has a theme to guide you, which helps take the stress out of meal planning. This outline also guarantees that you’ll have a variety of meals each week, and won’t end up eating chicken three nights in a row!

So, we’re challenging you to make your own meal-planning guide! What themes would you choose for each day? What layout would you use? Use Microsoft Word (or another favorite computer program!) to design your own meal planner, and email it to us. The winner will receive a $25 gift card to a grocery store of their choice.

Email your submissions to allissa@thefamilydinnerproject.org.

Thanks, everyone! Happy meal-planning!
